Rive
A downloadable game
Rive is an upcoming boss orientated hack and slash game. On the brink of your peoples destruction you are given the hungering axe, a forsaken weapon which once brought great destruction to the world. You must use it to pierce into the minds of your foes and drive them to insanity before consuming their powers for your own. Explore the vast landscape of Sigrass with every corner being hand made to make it feel like a real world. Rive features a unique "sanity bar" mechanic which adds a flow between rest and assault to it's combat.
This game is a work in progress, it was started as a project for the boss rush game jam (link bellow) and will be finished sometime later this year.

Love this game! I really haven't gotten very far though... it's quite difficult. Nonetheless, I am really enjoying all of the different mechanics and features this game offers. Not sure about anyone else but I'm almost getting Dark Souls vibes with this. So far, 9/10!
I'm glad you like it! I'm working on a full version of the game that's easier (with optional increased difficulty) and has a bit more mechanics that I'm hoping to finish by winter but idk if that will happen in time. If not it should be done by summer.
